BoardWar offers optional accounts. When you create one, the server stores your chosen username and a securely hashed password. We do not require email addresses, phone numbers, or real names.

Registered game scores and relevant statistics power the leaderboard and personal history. Technical information such as browser details, IP addresses, and request timestamps may be used briefly for stability and security.

2. Local Storage and Cookies

Game preferences, theme, language, and supported local progress are saved in your browser. Signed-in sessions may use an essential secure cookie.

Optional Google Analytics and Google AdSense load only after you accept the consent prompt. You can change your choice at any time.

3. Rankings and Multiplayer

Leaderboard usernames and scores are publicly visible. During online matches, usernames and moves are transmitted over a real-time connection; match-session technical data is not kept permanently.

4. Advertising and Data Sharing

BoardWar does not sell, rent, or trade personal information and does not share account information directly with advertisers. Google AdSense operates under Google's own policies, and Google may process data through its advertising scripts.
